restrooms, particulary eating places like MacDonald's?
Hand dryers make things neater but they do not promote sanitation.
After a person takes care of their personal hygeine, they usually touch the handle on the toilet to flush, the latch on the stall door and the hydrant at the lavatotory. Therefore to touch the hydrant again means they are recontaminating their hands.
The water hydrants in public restrooms and the handle on the door as you leave are two of the most bacteria laden things people can touch.
Consider their employees who handle food are also contaminating their hands. At MacDonald's it's clean?? I have never see a paper towel dispense at a MacDonald's.Shouldn't pressure be put on all city governments to have ordinances requiring paper towels in all public?
Thats a good idea; what I usually do is dry my hands if they have p.towels then use them to grab the door handle and I chuck the p.towels inside the lavatory.
Consider the garbage buildup in the trash cans, as well as who has to empty those tras cans. That's right, those same employees. If you're concerned about germs, don't touch the flusher again after you wash your hands. Germs are everywhere, trying to avoid them means staying at home constantly.
