Spots at back of eyes?

After a routine eye test, my friend was told that she has spots at the back of her eyes and would need to see the eye hospital for further tests. The optician said they were not floaters, but could be freckles on the skin behind her eye. She has always worn glasses, so why wouldnt these freckles have been picked up before? Shes really worried now.Spots at back of eyes?
i,ve never heard of freckles behind the eyes,it sounds like she has pressure in the chamber behind her eyes, she has no need to worry, she may need her glasses changing,if she does a lot of reading with an electric light, that may cause it too.the best thing to do is truly not to worry, see what the hospital says.
tell her to see an optician.
It is probably just something that was an oversight by a previous obtician. Tell her not to worry. It's probably nothing, but it is a good idea to get it checked.
Please tell your friend to get an appointment at the eye hospital. If the optician doing the eye test felt it necessary then she should do it. Problems at the back of the eye can be caused by, and indicate the onset of diabetes. The eye hospital will recommend checks if necessary. It may well not be a problem but better safe than sorry.
Tell your friend not to worry too much. I have the same thing that was diagnosed by my optomitrist a couple of years ago, he took a photo of it, and basically keeps an watch on it for any changes. Not a big deal, tell her to relax.
