Strange random headaches and nosebleeds??

my boyfriend was sick with the flu about a week ago, and he kept experiencing nosebleeds through out the duration of his illness. now despite the fact that he is feeling much better he is having random headaches and nosebleeds... does anyone have any insight or experience with symptoms like these??Strange random headaches and nosebleeds??
he should really get that checked out to rule out any serious problems.
