Taking iron tablets with high blood pressure?

I have been prescribed blood pressure lowering medications and iron supplements at the same time. I am assuming that you are on a prescription medication for the high BP. Make sure that the iron won't affect the absorption of the BP medication (read the labels or ask your pharmacist) and you should be fine.
You don't need to take Iron unless you are anemic. Too much is not good for you. It will not affect your blood pressure though
