Okay- so when put in and take out my contacts I wash then and clean them everytime but when i put the contacts in my eyes burrrn for about 30 seconds and then the burn goes away. i'm just wondering if this is normal cause you know...burning eyes are not normal ;]Should my contacts burn?
Be sure your cleaning system is specified for the type of lenses that you have. Be careful to thoroughly rinse your lenses after cleaning because the cleaning chemicals can burn your eyes.
Mine burn, especially since my eyes
are extremely sensitive to light.
I normally put some Visine in before
I put my contacts on just so that it
won't burn as much and my eyes
don't look all red and puffy.
you should try a sensitive eye solution
hopefully your just using the stuff your supposed to- to clean your contacts- it's pretty normal my eyes burn and itch for a lil when I put my contacts in but if the burn and itch don't go away you probably got your contact in the wrong way take it out and flip it the other way (If you have soft contacts of course) and get you some eye drops made specifically for contact users if my eyes are real dry I put eye drops in b4 and after I wear my contacts
Sometimes my eyes burn when I put in my contacts...it's usually because my eyes are dry. My eye doctor said Visine is bad for your eyes! If your eyes are dry, use natural tears.
If that doesn't help, you might want to try a different type of contact cleaner. Good luck!
That should be alright. If the burn continues throughout day wear go to an eye doctor. I had a nasty case of viral conjuctivtus, detected very late because I thought a bit of burn was normal.
Whenever I put contacts in it isnt strange to be stingy for a bit, so you should be fine. :)

Should my contacts burn?

This might sound crazy but I was using a really strong medicated face wash at night, and every morning when I put my contacts in, my eye's burned like crazy. Even though I wasn't putting the face wash directly on my eyes it still got in a little I guess, and when it mixed with the salt from the contact solution it mixed together and burned. I told this to my eye doctor Calgary and said it was a great possibility that would be the reason why. I stopped using the face wash and my eyes have stopped burning.
