You've got a big job if you want to do that. Incense is almost a religion (actually is a part of some) in the Asiatic part of the world.
doesn,t this stuff work just like a room freshener???
so then should we discourage people from spraying air fresheners and burning scented candles?
Many religious organisations is Spore has started to discourage their community from burning too much. As I live near a temple, they do send out pamphlets to nearby residents to let us know that they have been discouraging burning so as not to pollute the air around.
I suppose such actions must be taken by the religious leaders themselves as anyone else voicing it may strike a sensitive cord.
We live in a multiracial, multi-religion society here, you should just give a little respect to others religion and their customs.
If you want to encourage the government to ban burning of incense paper, then you should try encourage people to stop driving altogether first. CO emission from vehicles are more damaging to the environment than the occasional burning of incense papers.
