i try to calm myself but i just cant. also it sucks when its before a date and they wanna go out to eat.. the last thing i want is to eat when i feel sick. how can i get it controlled?Sometimes i get so nervous that i get nauseous and i cant get it under control.. any advise?
I think the best way is to get therapy... An expert will tell you what's best for you... You can even join a group therapy, that's what I did and I'm very satisfied with the result.
Sounds like an anxiety attack. You need to learn to relax. Try meditation.
i suffer from anxiety attacks when I feel stressed or under pressure. I also get nauseaous. Usually I try to control my breathing and eat something. Not eating builds up the acid in your stomach and makes it worse. Try dry toast or a cracker a while before. Anti nausea bands can help - you know the kind you wear during travel. Ginger is also good or sucking a mint or chewing gum. hope this helps . Good luck
You must be a very nervous person.
Try natural solutions like avoiding coffee and cigarettes, sleep enough, practice some sports or any activity... you can also try yoga or taichi. If non of these improves you, then you should go to the doctor. There are soft pills that relax you (in spain we have lexatin 1,5 I don't know if you have that in the US). You can have 1 of these in the morning, which is enough to calm you for the day (this is my case).
It could also be a psicological issue. Maybe, your under stress now or have something in particular that worries you (you can even not realise it, but suffer from anxiety). Also good to go to the doctor or to therapy. Sometimes, this can be solved by just starting to do something you like (dedicate some time of the day to do something just for you).
